Bumper harvest means jobs and lifestyle opportunities for Aussie veterans

Operation Grain Harvest Assist (OPGHA) is an inspirational initiative by former tank commander Garry Spencer who spotted the opportunity for veterans to team up with growers to ensure Australian grain makes it to international markets in time for the best possible prices.

Veterans and farmers can register their interest with OPGHA who then coordinate training and paid employment for veterans wanting to apply their skills in farming.

In this interview, Garry explains the process and the benefits for all concerned.

It's a tremendous initiative that is giving veterans an opportunity to be part of an exciting and hands-on industry requiring teamwork and the ability to learn about and operate sophisticated equipment.
